Total Annihilation
Robots have been fighting each other for over 4,000 years. This game has a great soundtrack performed by a live orchestra. It's really dramatic and kinda reminiscent of a Star Wars score. The other sounds are great too. Very industrial and includes lots of sirens/klaxons. The models are 3-d but with a fixed camera position, which means you get too see a lot of cool angles, but it still feels like the beauty of prerendered sprites.

fun and had splitscreen.
Mini Car Racing
very fun also had splitscreen.
I've started playing again. The TA community is still active and I've received a lot of help from the forums.
might try getting an iso of this running sometime soon.
